Merry Christmas

Ok my adoption peeps, I just want to say how much I love and appreciate your friendship and support during this crazy process. I really enjoy chatting with you on the yahoo board, blogs and facebook. I can't imagine surviving this journey without you.

I am going a little crazy waiting for the phone to ring when I have no idea if it is even justified.
#36 accepted their referral (yay!) and there are only a handful 'ahead' of us on the referral tracker (remember we are #43). Who knows if we are matched yet and waiting on paperwork or is there a referral sitting on someone's desk waiting for a social worker to make the call???

I am hopeful that our referral could happen before Christmas but I accept the fact that it could be in the new year. I am okay with that. Whatever happens, happens. BUT what a wonderful Xmas present that would BE!

Anyways, I wish you all a very Merry Christmas. I know that some of you are finding the holidays difficult without a/your child...I know what that is like. Before we were blessed with Josina, we had many years where we just didn't bother decorating because it was just too difficult. Where ever you are in your journey I wish you love, health and happiness for the year to come. May 2011 be the best year yet. Let those phones ring off the hook with referrals, court dates be successful on the first date and visas be issued in record time!

I love it Darci! I should do the same, ha ha. I spoke with my social worker last night at the agency's Xmas party for the kids and I left by saying she can call anytime with our referral. Her response was 'maybe it may even be before Christmas'. Ok, what's with that...are you just saying that OR do you know something I don't know...ha ha! Anyways, I wish the same for you! The best phone call ever.

I put in my vote! Excited for you guys that you are getting closer. After so many months with very few referrals, it's been fun to see a flood of them!

Knowing that bunch... if they knew something, they wouldn't be able to hold back, lol. They called us about Hana before they could even get the email attachments open. :)

But I'm still voting that I would like you to have news before Christmas!! Hear that, World?? We're ready over here!!

Tammy, you won't believe this but my phone hasn't been working for weeks now--it's driving me crazy, they keep saying they need a new part--hopefully they will have it up and going today, I told my husband that if Telus doesn't get it fixed, and we miss our referral call I will never ever forgive Telus-HAHAHA!--kidding of course! I've already come up with a great Christmas idea for how I will tell my parents *if* we get our referral before Christmas--I'm going to give them a frame with a picture of their two granddaughters, and our referral pic--that's now I plan to tell them. I've been dreaming of this F-O-R-E-V-E-R!!!
Can't wait to hear when you get yours!!!
Can you tell I'm seriously going crazy?? We are soooo close--I can't believe We've been trying to adopt since 2006!!!
